Clear rules for your training.
This explains how you use paceos and paceos Pro, what your subscription includes and which responsibility for training decisions stays with you.

1. Provider and contact
paceos is provided by Daniel Schwarz, Mauritiusstraße 190, 50226 Frechen, Germany. Contact: hello@paceos.run.
These terms of use govern the use of the paceos app and the paid features of paceos Pro.
2. Scope of services
paceos supports you with training planning, training analysis, readiness assessment and communication with an AI-powered coach.
paceos Pro may include additional features, including detailed analyses, coach chat, adaptive training planning, synchronisation and premium widgets.
The specific range of features may evolve. We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free use.
3. Subscriptions, trial period and payment
After registering, you can try paceos with full access free of charge once for 7 days. The period starts when you complete onboarding and requires neither payment details nor cancellation. After that, a subscription is required to keep using the app. Individual features may also be limited in quantity during this period, such as the number of coach messages.
paceos Pro is offered through auto-renewing in-app subscriptions in the Apple App Store. There may be a weekly and a yearly subscription. The weekly subscription may additionally include a 3-day free trial from Apple, if Apple offers it for your account.
The applicable price, term and any trial period are shown in the Apple purchase dialog before you buy. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled via your Apple ID at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscription in iOS Settings under Apple ID, Subscriptions. Subscriptions you have already bought can be reactivated in the app via "Restore purchase".
4. Training, health and personal responsibility
paceos is a fitness and training app. The app does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or therapy and does not replace a doctor, medical advice or individual care by qualified professionals.
Training guidance, readiness values, load assessments and coach replies are automated recommendations based on the data available to us. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate.
Train on your own responsibility. If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, heart problems, unusual symptoms, have pre-existing conditions or feel unsure, pause your training and seek medical advice.
5. AI coach and training plans
The paceos coach uses automated systems and may derive recommendations from your information, training data and vitals. There is no guarantee of improved performance, freedom from injury or reaching specific race goals.
You are responsible for checking recommendations against your current situation, environment, equipment and physical condition. You can adjust plans, skip sessions or seek professional support.
6. Data sources and synchronisation
paceos may process data from Apple Health, Garmin, COROS, Polar, Wahoo, Zepp, Strava or other connected sources if you actively set up that connection. These sources may provide data with delays, incompletely or in varying quality.
If a data source is unavailable, disconnected or delivers incorrect data, analyses, readiness and training guidance may be affected.
7. Permitted use
You may only use paceos lawfully and for private training and fitness purposes. Misuse, manipulation of data, unauthorised access or disruption of the services is prohibited.
We may restrict or block access if use violates these terms or endangers the security, integrity or availability of the service.
8. Liability
We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health.
Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. In particular, we accept no liability for training decisions you make on your own responsibility based on automated recommendations, unless mandatory statutory liability applies.
9. Changes and final provisions
We may amend these terms if features, legal requirements or technical processes change. Material changes will be communicated transparently.
German law applies, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence conflict with it. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
